What legal grounds do we rely on to process your information?
In short: we believe it is necessary and we have a legitimate legal basis (i.e., legal grounds) to do so in accordance with applicable law, similar to consent, to comply with regulations, to provide you with services, or to fulfill our contractual obligations, protect your rights, or fulfill our legitimate business interests.
If you are in the EU or UK, this section applies to you.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the GDPR in the UK require us to explain the important legal grounds on which we rely to process your personal data. Therefore, we may rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal data:
Under the law, we are generally the „data controller” under European personal data protection laws described in this privacy notice, as we determine the means and/or purposes of processing the data. This privacy notice does not apply to personal data that we process as a „data processor” on behalf of our clients. In such cases, the client to whom we provide services and with whom we have entered into a data processing agreement is the „data controller” responsible for the personal data, and we simply process your information on their behalf according to their instructions. If you would like to learn more about the privacy practices of our clients, you should read their privacy policies and direct any questions to them.
If you are in Canada, this section applies to you.

Other Users. When you share personal data (for example, by posting comments, contributions, or other content to the Services) or otherwise interact with public areas of the Services, such personal data may be viewed by all users and may be publicly shared outside of the Services permanently. We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to collect information when interacting with our services. We also allow third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our services for analytics and advertising, including managing ads and displaying ads, customizing ads to your interests, or sending abandoned cart reminders (depending on communication preferences). Third parties and service providers use their technology to provide ads for products and services tailored to your interests, which may appear on our services or on other websites.
To the extent that these online tracking technologies are considered „sales”/”sharing” (which includes targeted advertising, as defined under applicable US state laws), you can opt out of these online tracking technologies by submitting a request as described below in the section “Do U.S. residents have specific privacy rights?”
For detailed information on how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies, please refer to our cookie notice: https://pl.mindshiftlife.eu/polityka/.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or that you are a parent or guardian of a minor and consent to the minor’s use of the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal data from users under the age of 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the contact information provided in the “How can you contact us about this notice?” section below, or by updating your preferences.
Please note, however, that this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal, nor, if permitted by law, will it affect the processing of personal data conducted in reliance on legal processing grounds other than consent.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communication: You can opt out of our marketing and promotional communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails we send or contacting us using the details provided in the “How can you contact us about this notice?” section below. If you have any questions or comments about your privacy rights, you can write to us at info@pl.mindshiftlife.eu.
Control for Functions
Most web browsers, as well as some mobile operating systems and mobile applications, include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature or setting that you can activate to signal your privacy preferences, indicating that you do not want data collected about your online browsing activities. At this time, there is no unified standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals. Therefore, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must adhere to in the future, we will inform you of this practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to inform you of how we respond to DNT browser signals. Since there is currently no industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
